Teresa G. Cusse
Founder & Consultant
Teresa, better known as Terry, founded Grant-ify out of a passion for helping organizations succeed in their fundraising efforts.
Terry brings over 15 years of experience developing and writing federal, state, local government, and private foundation grants. She has a proven record of success, with more than $50 million in submitted proposals resulting in over $30 million in awarded projects from federal, state, and local governments, as well as corporate and private foundations.
Terry served as Director of the Resource Development Department at Miami Dade College for four years. Under her leadership, the department—which averaged $30 million annually in grant funding—comprised seven grant writers with more than 60 years of combined grant-related experience, a Grant Research Analyst, and an administrative supervisor.
Terry's expertise spans concept development, project design, and the preparation of all proposal components, including statements of need, budget narratives, logic model design, and evaluation plan development. Terry’s grant development competencies are further enhanced by her experience providing direct services and serving as a selected peer reviewer for various funding entities.
In addition to her grant services, Terry has served as a business consultant, helping organizations identify and diversify their fundraising efforts. Her knowledge of emerging technologies—including cybersecurity, AI, and immersive realities—provides valuable insight into improving organizational efficiencies while identifying strategies to fund digital transformation initiatives.
